My name is Natalie Jobity, and I'm the president of Elan Image Management, an image consulting firm. We're going to talk today about how to wear a white suit. The key thing about white suits are they are classic, ladies. They are classic, they are timeless, they are a refreshing take from the black suit. As we age, black becomes very stark on many of our skins, so sometimes - especially in the summer and the spring - a white suit can be a great great alternative to a black suit or any other colored suit. A white suit is also, as any monochromatic suit would be, elongating. So if you want to look taller and more elevated, the clean lines of a white suit will really give you that. So, here is my model, Monique, wearing a classic white suit. The jacket is tailored. It has seams, pockets... but it's pretty conservative in style. And then she has fitted white pants, which are very figure flattering, and very stylish as well. And she's wearing her suit with black sandals, because she's going out in a dressy evening. What I love about how we've done this suit is we've paired it with a vest. The vest is actually cool on its own, by itself, or with the jacket. So we're going to button like one of the buttons on the jacket here, just to make it a little more conservative, and we're going to add some pearls, because she's going out for an evening night out, and she wants to be a little bit more dressed up. So we're going to add a bunch of faux pearls to her look. Oops. Sorry. We've just added a bunch of faux freshwater pearls to this outfit, and it's instantly glammed it up. This white suit is great for the evening. In this ensemble, she looks great. You will look great. I'm going to show you how to wear your white suit in a very classic way. So we have our traditional white suit. It's buttoned, so you can see the full effect. We paired it with a ruffled blouse, which is so feminine and girlie. I love what it does to the lapel of this; it softens her decolletage. We've added an edgy silver necklace to just give it a little bit more drama, but it's still very soft and feminine. White is elongating. It's monochromatic. It's fresh. It's youthful. It's clean and classic. She is wearing it with neutral brown pumps to make it a more conservative way to wear it. Earrings and hair: everything is very classic and toned down. The necklace is the one edgy piece, but this is a great way to wear a white suit in a more traditional way, with a little bit of drama, ladies.
