Hi, I'm Tressa Branin from Total Style Solutions. And, let's talk about these little suckers, the bow ties. They are the bane of every man who's trying to do them, and they get all confused. So, let's just do the simple, basic method to tie the bow tie. So, this tie that we're using is actually adjustable. So, you can adjust it to your neck size, depending on what the size of your neck is. So, that way it's a little bit easier than just having one size. You can buy them all one size for your neck, but adjustable is always good, too, so you don't have it too tight. Take your tie, and you have one of the ends hanging longer than the other, whichever you choose, it's up to you. You take - I'm right handed, so the right hand seems to work really well for me. Down, up, and through. And then, you want to make sure you get it nice and super tight. So, tighten it, cinch it down really really well, just like that. Then, you take your loop that's down at the bottom, and you make your first bow right there at the neck. Your piece that's longer hanging over the top, you take it around, and that's how you get that front piece in there. Then, you take the two pieces, slide them together, and you've pinched it. So, now you'll see there's a little loop right in through there, and that's your guide of where you put the hole through the back for the other side of the bow. Then, you have your two pieces, and you're like, "Wahhh, that's not quite right, it's not quite fabulous." So, you got to work on tightening it down. If it's a little loose, you can take the two pieces that are inside and pull, and that pulls it tighter. And, that allows you to pull those two end pieces, make it nice and straight, and there you go. Pull it tight, and then you put your collar down, and fabulous! You've got your bow tie all set and ready to go. Make sure your collar's nice and neat and straight, straighten yourself back out, and there you go, you've got your bow tie. So, you've got the bow tie tied perfectly. Now again, it's something that takes practice. You're not going to get it right the very first time. And, if you're going to give up and not even try it, or you don't even want to take the time to start to try, you can always get the bow tie that's already tied, that instead of an adjustable neck, it actually connects in the back and opens. So, you just - almost like clip-on tie - you just put it on. So, you still have that look of the strap underneath the collar, and it looks really nice. It doesn't look like one that you just clipped right on the front like a little kid tie. Again, I'm Tressa Branin from Total Style Solutions, and I encourage you to express your greatness.
