Hi, my name is Nancy Paterra, and I'm a makeup artist in Los Angeles. We are going to talk about what lip color you should wear. A lot of that decision is lifestyle and personality. I think for daytime looks sticking with neutrals or even lip glosses are a really good selection. If you want to be more dramatic or start playing with color you can feel free to work with little brighter shades. A lot of the trends lately seem to be a brighter mouth but you really have to look at where you are going and what you are doing. What is your job? Are you a student? Are you a homemaker? And go from there and what your comfort level is. My client here works in a restaurant so she can play with her look a little more. And she wants something that has a little bit more color to it then a lip gloss and not too dark like the dark reds here. So I think this would be a nice choice for her or this one right up here which is like more of a pinkie color. That will look nice and appropriate, and professional. So with your lip brush go into your appropriate chosen lifestyle and work color. And put it right onto the lips. And you can see this is real pretty. It's just a super soft pink that will suit her professional life. And I'm also working with a semi matte so it will stay on all day too. So once again lets review. When choosing a lip color you really have to look at lifestyle. What you do for a living and go from there. And also your comfort level too. It's fun to play with trendy colors but sometimes for day to day wear sticking with something that's a little safer is a good option.
