Hi, I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style, and if you're like me and live in a colder climate during the Winter, I bet you're going to get invited to lots of outdoor barbecues. So today I'm going to show you three different ways to look stylish when you go to a Winter barbecue. First we're going to talk about the dressier version. What I did is pair a nice cashmere sweater with a pair of skinny jeans. I added a nice leather belt here at the smallest part of the waist just to draw your eye in there. I love this sweater because it has a cowl neck. It's a nice alternative to a turtle neck. If you have a shorter neck like me, this is going to be great for your body type. It adds just a nice little texture and detail and really opens up the neckline to your face. I paired this outfit with this great tweed wool jacket. Wool is perfect for Winter barbecues because it's super warm. The whole outfit overall is pretty neutral in color so what I did is I added this nice printed scarf just to bring in a lot of color and detail and interest to this outfit. What makes this outfit dressy? It's the shoe that you're going to be wearing with it. So this pointed toe heel leather boot is going to just add that nice little level of sophistication and luxury to this outfit, not meant to be worn walking through the snow though on the way to the party. If you want a little more casual look, what I would recommend is going with a hooded sweater. This too is cashmere, it's super yummy, super warm and comfy and it's just a little bit more casual. Layering is key when you're going to an outdoor barbecue. My recommendation is to start with a great basic layer and like long underwear would be a good place to start. My recommendation is to go with silk long underwear because what it does is it still adds the warmth but it doesn't add any bulk. So pop some silk long underwear underneath this, tuck it under your tweed jacket. You have this great printed scarf and it's going to go perfectly with the skinny jeans as well. What makes this more casual is the boot that you pair it with. This is a simple fun boot. It adds a little bit of interest and detail to your outfit and a little bit of your personality and this going in and outdoor is perfect for a Winter barbecue. Last but not least is the classic sweater and shirt set. I love this, this is perfect for anytime of the year, can't you just see yourself cozying up to a nice Winter fire with this or at an outdoor barbecue? This too is great paired with a tweed sport coat and a nice printed scarf. This too would be great indoors because you already have layers so if you get warm you can shut them as you go throughout the night. Classic riding boot, this is the perfect pairing to go with this outfit. You can't go wrong with this. This is a great investment piece too. Both of these are because they're never going to go out of style. So as you can see, if you're headed off to a Winter cold freezing outdoor barbecue, there's three different ways to make your outfit look stylish without looking like you tried too hard. I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style. Thanks for watching.
