Hi, I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style, and today I'm going to be talking to you about how to shop for sophisticated clothing. It's all about three things, fit, value and detail. First of all, fit hands down is the most important thing when you're shopping for a great looking suit. It must fit in every part of your body. The better if fits, the more sophisticated you're going to look. My suggestion when shopping for a suit or a sport coat is to fit the widest part of your body. For example, if you have a wider hip than you do a shoulder, you're going to go up a size in your jacket and have the shoulder tailored down to fit you perfectly. Second I want to talk about the fabric, the quality. You know what they say, you get what you pay for. When you're shopping for sophisticated looks, that's pretty true. You really want to look for a three season wool that's going to take you from Spring and Summer and into Fall. This is a great way to get the most bang for your buck and to find the highest quality fabrics that you can afford. Next is detail. The simpler an outfit, the more sophisticated it's going to look. As you can see on this suit coat there is very little details. We have a slight flat pocket here, a notch lapel but other than that, not too much going on and something else, I paired it with a very very simple little shirt to go underneath, a little cami, that's all you need, again less detail, more sophisticated. Another great option to go under a suit is your classic white button down shirt and as you can see this shirt has very little detail to it as well. It has a nice open collar with a lower button here. That's going to create a nice space to show off your face. So as you can see with sophisticated clothing, less is more, look for the best quality of fabric that you can afford and fit, hands down is the most important. Find clothes that fit you like a glove and you will look the most sophisticated you can. I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style. Thanks for watching.
