Get a cup of hot water and put 2 tea bags in it then let it sit until cold. Apply the tea to the burns, it makes the pain go away, and because it's cold; it takes out the hotness in the sunburn. -

I was in Greece and burnt myself to a crisp. I couldn't sit or wear pants. A friend convinced me to apply Paul Mitchell conditioner and the burn was 85% better by the next day. I don't know if other rich conditioners work as well. -

For the summer, keep an aloe plant in your kitchen. When you get a sunburn, just take one of the leaves, slit it open, and apply to the sunburn. It really helps! -

First, bathe in a lukewarm-to-cool bath (NOT cold) for 30 minutes, then apply vinegar compresses. Last, smear Noxzema all over your burnt bits. It takes the heat out fast, plus it moisturizes the skin and helps prevent peeling. -

After getting burned, as soon as possible take 2000-4000 mg of Vitamin C. It will stop the pain by the next day, and the burn will heal much faster. This remedy has worked for my family of beach-fanatics for years. -

For children with sunburn, try applying cool compresses to the affected areas and giving your child safe dosages of acetaminophen. Do your best to prevent sunburn by applying sunblock on your children regularly, even on cloudy days. -

Keep tea bags and liquid in a bowl in the fridge and stroke skin lightly, you can use the tea bags again and again. Also you can find some really good aloe vera gels and sprays and they work well also. -

first take toothpaste and mix it with white vinager and then chill it in the refigerater for five min. after that take a damp cloth and soak it in the mixture. put on burnt spots and it will take the heat and pain away. -

Instead of aloe, rub some Nutragena on the burn. Make sure to use the Nutragena in the blue container. This works faster than aloe. -

Sounds odd, but it works, trust me. Apply toothpaste to the burned area and leave on for about an hour or until it's completely dry, then rinse off and apply again if needed. This also works with mild burns from fire. -

Look for Aloe Vera Gel with Lidocaine added. Lidocaine is an anesthetic. It will numb the pain while giving a very cool sensation. -

Taking a cool bath really reduces pain. If for some reason you have to take a shower instead, make sure if you have a powerful shower head not to let it directly hit the burned areas. Also, when done, lightly dab the burned area to dry it. Even though it feels a little better, trust me, do not rub it with a towel! -

I've found that goat's milk lotion works even better than aloe. It takes the pain away and rehydrates the skin. It's definitely worth a try if you've got a bad one. -

You can use Desitin to help with sun burn, I am so burned this weekend. My father treats people who have cancer from tanning and burning, so i know it works to relieve it. Don't go to tanning booths, my father says its harmful and can get Melanoma -
