on 7/2/2007 Potato, Miracle Whip, yellow Mustard, diced Egg, Sliced Green Olives, Jarred Pimentos (in the canned veggie isle at the grocery store) Garlic & Onion powder, Salt and Pepper to taste makes the perfect potato salad! My grandmothers recipe and we can't have a holiday dinner without it.

on 7/2/2007 Regarding onions, I always use an old fashioned potato grater. I use the same for the carrots, celery, and green pepper, if used. BTW....Great Recipe!

on 5/23/2007 Use a waxy type potato like white or red to make salad. Russet potatoes are too starchy and fall apart and turn to mush. Fine for baked or mashed, but not potato salad.

on 8/8/2006 I keep cans of the diced potatoes in my pantry at all times. Saves you having to boil the potatoes and dicing them. Just simply drain them well in a strainer, making sure to remove any starchy build up and then you're ready to begin to add your favorite ingredients.

on 11/22/2005 My family likes a sweeter potato salad so I will sprinkle a little sweetener into it.

on 11/22/2005 Instead of the mayo, use 1/2 plain yogurt. You won't be able to taste it. Really! If seriously dieting, just use yogurt instead of any mayo. It will be less rich-tasting, and a little bit more sour.

on 11/22/2005 I got this recipe from the Ragin' Cajun: Boil the potatoes in crab boil, add a bunch of green olives(you can sneak the salt in this way). Other than that just follow the recipe you've always used. I was a little skeptical too , but it is really good.

on 12/27/2007 Add bacon & only some of the fat to your own taste....I didn't say it was healthy, but good.
