Used engine oil, which is inexpensive, would work as well as 'Tanglefoot'.

Thanks for sharing.. and also I've found this (Chemibond Sticky Spray) more user friendly as i don't have to make my own glue (which i learned from another website with Corn&water). It's weather resistant too, i do not have to worry it will washed off after rain, easy to use.. spray on wherever place i want to.. maybe you can try that in ur garden too :)

I really like the idea, I am going to buy some tanglefoot online tonight. I have whitefly and aphids in my little aqaponics greenhouse... since it's January I can't get ladybugs.
