on 7/24/2007 My boyfriend is asking me to marry him in two years and then he changed it to 5 years why would he change it .... I told him i really love him but i don't think i'm ready for a marriage right now cause i have alot the stuff to take of.....He said he understand and the next day he call me and he said he would wait .The next day he wasn't ok with it, he said it's cause i don't love him that's why i said i need to think about it ..... what should i do
on 8/8/2006 If you want to know whether or not he is the one, here it is. Does he treat you with absolute respect? Is he always willing to listen and talk? Does he open doors for you, pay the bills? All the ladies wonder if there are guys that are like this. I am one of them, we exist. Remember though, a man will only treat you as well as you treat them. Evaluate everything you do as if you were in his shoes and how you would feel if he did that. Most importantly - be patient.
on 6/30/2006 You need to be able to have time apart in order to have lasting lives together. If he can't go out with the guys and/or you can't have a girls night out, that's a problem. You can't be each others entire life or you'll have nothing else and grow quite sick of each other.
on 11/22/2005 when he let you handle things like finding a good deal for a house, redecorating his appartment (soon to be your appartment)...that way you can see that he involves you in every part of his life...thats how youll know if you will marry your boyfriend...

on 11/22/2005 One of the biggest ways (I think) that you can find out about him and how he feels about you is to talk to his friends. If his friends are nice, respectable, and normal, than your boyfriend probably is, too. If his friends are drug addicts that go to raves all day and night and beat up their mammas, then you might want to take a look at your boyfriend. But be careful, because this is not always true. The next step is to try to get his friends to tell you what he says about you. I once found that the man I was deeply in love with and who treated me like a queen was cheating on me. I found this out by talking to his best pal.

I was always waiting for my new beau to do the way the last one did, but now I realize that I cannot judge him based on the others I have known. If your man can accept and help you work through your insecurities; open your world, heart, and future to him.
on 11/22/2005 As crazy as this is, look to see if maybe he is buying a house, has a dog, or has any long term financial investments. This right here might indicate that he is able and willing to make a long term investment in your relationship. The house indicates that he wants more than the "frat boy" lifestyle, the dog indicates that he has no problem taking care of another life dependent on him. You get the picture.
