We added lots of food colouring to buckets of snow and then packed that on the surface of each round. We made him rainbow coloured - a bit like a marble cake. You have to start of very bright as the snow does suck the colouring in and make it paler. This time we will try coating the base snow with hair spray!

Spray the snow with water to help it pack if you are having trouble making it stick -

Not wrong having to google it.. We are new to snow too and thought we were doing something wrong.. The snow just won't pack.

Just rolling the snow in different directions on the ground works fine, or at least that's what I've found. Then, yeah, you can do all the cool fix-it-up stuff!

We are supposed to get 12 inches of snow tomorrow! I guess we should try to make a snowman. We will have lots of snow!
