on 8/1/2006 I have dark blonde hair, hazel eyes and skin that is pale (but tans easily), and the color that suits me best is khaki. It makes my hair look more blonde and vibrant. Hope this helps!

on 7/10/2006 I know we all like black, but a better base color for blondes is brown. Sometimes the black is just too dark (things like sunglasses) and they can look terrible. Depending what you like, you can have chocolate browns, tans, light browns, whatever you like.

on 3/8/2006 Solid white near the face will make any skin look radiant, but make sure it is not off-white as this will wash you out.

on 11/22/2005 Don't be fooled! Choosing colors is not easy! The basic rules can be useful, but also misleading. Eg, paler colorings should avoid red as it is too harsh- however, a pale complexion can pull off (even be flattered by) a clear red (like a muted tomato red) in the right context. To work out one's colors takes time and effort using trial and error- check against your face which colors bring out natural warmth, eye color, make you look washed out, etc. It's different for everyone.

on 11/22/2005 Logic can tell you this - if you have light skin, dark colors will make you look even more pale., while light colors will make you appear darker. You can kill two birds with one stone by finding a double shirt (One shirt with the appearance of a shirt with an overshirt) that's a color that matches your eye/hair color well (or a slimming color!) with the undershirt being white. You'll still get the slimming effect or whatever you choose, as well as looking darker, as the white undershirt is what hits your skin, causing contrast.

on 11/22/2005 If you're pale, go for light to medium pinks. Pink brightens blue eyes and almost always harmonizes with the pink in your skin, giving you a healthy glow.

on 11/22/2005 If you have very pale colouring don't wear pale clothes as it makes you look really pale and so ill. Also if you are very pale don't wear very very strong colours as in a way it makes you look lost in your outfit. Wear inbetween colours!

on 11/22/2005 If you have blue eyes any shade of blue works and also light pinks, strong but not dark greens and reds.
