on 6/30/2006 A tip for making fun colored flowers on your nails is to get sparkles. Tiny colored sparkles work well as the middle of the flower if you feel that you hand circle didn't come out good.

on 11/22/2005 If you don't have a steady hand to use a toothpick to draw the details (like the spots and the lines), use a Sharpie. They come in all sorts of fun colors too, so you can get really be creative. Don't draw on the nail, it is very bad for you. Just a little bit of Sharpie on top of nail polish is OK.

on 11/22/2005 I was having a difficult time painting the straight line on my toes, so I came up with a solution. Instead of using a toothpick for this part, use two pieces of tape. Make the line as thick as you want and then use your black nail polish over the tape, to fill in the line. It's important to make sure your nails are dry before putting the tape on, so you don't rip any of the red polish off. It's also important to wait for the black nail polish to dry before removing the tape so that the black doesn't bleed all over the red.

on 12/23/2005 This is a different version of the ladybugs and very cute! Paint your nail with a yellow color and let dry. Then paint the tip black and 1 or 2 stripes below it, not too thick. Then add white eyes on tip with a toothpick! Very cute and gets lots of attention.

on 11/22/2005 Although this is a bit harder, it makes the bugs much cuter: use a toothpick to drop an oval of red polish on your nail. Then add dots and antennae. This adds much more charactar to your nails.
