on 11/3/2006 Okay, the "rinse toothbrush"? Try microwaving it for a minute in a bowl of water, or just replace it - they don't cost that much! This may sound gross, but it works...garlic oil, add it to the salt water gargle. Garlic is antimicrobial as well as antibiotic.

on 9/12/2006 I have had strep throat quite a few times and what always works for me is eating lots of fried, greasy and sugary foods. It makes my stomach hurt but it makes my throat not hurt as much. Now if you are gonna use this technique, I suggest that you exercise a lot. because I've gained weight from it.Give it a try! It couldn't hurt you, if anything it could make everything a whole lot better!

on 8/8/2006 I get strep throat frequently, and whenever my throat starts to hurt I start drinking orange juice and start eating a lot of spicy food. It burns, but between the high amounts of vitamin C and the acidity in both I can usually get rid of it without having to use antibiotics.

on 6/30/2006 Get antibiotics as soon as you can, don't wait! It'll just lead to worse things if you do.

on 2/8/2006 Drink hot herbal teas or regular tea. Put a washcloth under hot water and then put it on your neck. If your head is heavy, put one on your head too.

on 11/22/2005 Never stop eating. Even though it may hurt going down your throat, it will make it worse if you stop eating completely.
