To prevent mugs and such from pooling water on top, set them at a slight angle.Furthermore, position glasses between prongs, so that the water action is not hampered inside the glass.

on 11/22/2005 Immediately after the wash cycle completes, I turn the dial to OFF, so the dry cycle does not run. I first remove and wipe all silverware. I then quickly flip the dishes over (to remove excess water) and close the door, propping it open with a plastic cup at the top. Dishes are completely dry in 2 hours. The door can be left completely open, if kitchen space allows.
on 11/22/2005 If your dishes do not get dry enough with the machine's dryer alone, help it out by shaking off some of the pools of water from the dishes at the start of the drying process. This causes the water to evaporate more easily.
on 11/22/2005 Putting the same utensils (all forks, for example) in the same compartment makes unloading a lot easier and faster!
