on 11/22/2005 If you are looking to grow grass fast in a cool climate (like the fall), try ryegrass. It grows very fast, and will last throughout the year. It will adapt if you feed it enough.
on 11/22/2005 Try this fertilizer for growing grass. I used it for my science fair project, and it worked the best.-1 can Campbell's Tomato Juice-1/2 cup fabric softener (Downy)-2 cups water-2/3 cup orange juice (Tropicana Grovestand)-25 drops food coloring (optional)I use fabric softener because of the smell, and food coloring because of how nasty it looks. It still smells, however. Good Luck.
