on 11/22/2005 Undergo a full medical exam before starting your program. Based on your health, ask yourself, what's realistic for me? Think simple and think long-term. Unless you have prior experience in a physically grueling sport, start off with a walk/jog routine.
on 11/22/2005 Make sure you wear high quality, properly fitting shoes. Poor shoes can lead to a painful and discouraging experience. Worse yet, the wrong shoes can lead to injury. Be careful, and don't be cheap!
