on 1/19/2008 Arabians are the only breed in the U.S. in which juniors can ride stallions in the show pen.

on 3/7/2006 I have had Arabians all my life, they are a tough, versatile, friendly breed. Very bright horses, sometimes smarter than the people that try to train them. They have a lot of go but this isn't to be confused with hotness, they just like being around people, they like being worked and are ready to get to it. Like someone mentioned, there are big Arabs as well as small. One of mine is 13.1 hh another one I have is an honest 15.3 hh and 1100 lbs. So shop around there are Arabs of every shape size and attitude.

on 11/22/2005 I recently adopted a registered, branded purebred Arabian gelding from the Columbia Basin Equine Rescue. He's a blast, he's very intelligent. He learns quickly, and sometime in his life someone put a lot of training into him. He was also very inexpensive because no one was trying to make a profit off of him; they are just trying to find a suitable home. Definitely consider adoption!

on 11/22/2005 Once you own an Arabian horse, you will never go back. They are so loyal, friendly, loving, intelligent, and fun to be around. No other breed can begin to compare with them.

on 11/22/2005 I own an Arabian and she is wonderful, but she does get flighty sometimes. She has lots of "GO." A lot of Arabians are that way, and in my opinion, if you are looking for a slow horse that you just want to take out once in a while for a slow trail ride, don't get an Arabian. Most Arabians are high-energy horses and they like to have a meaningful job, something that'll put their minds to work. Take my Arabian, for instance. She has many jobs and is very happy. She excels at each and every one of them. She jumps, does barrels, ranch work, cutting, reining, shows at lungeline, and much more. Arabians love to work their minds as well as their bodies.

on 11/22/2005 I own an Arabian and they are the best of all breeds! I have worked with more than just Arabs and they seem to be the most intelligent breed of all. They are patient, kind, trustworthy, and always caring. To find out more, visit www.arabianhorses.org, home of the International Arabian Horse Association.

on 11/22/2005 Arabs are, by far, the best breed if you are looking for a companion and partner. And they are amazingly ageless. My 19-yr-old gelding has been guessed as young as 3 and outlasts all other horses so far in speed and endurance! They are truly wonderful.

on 11/22/2005 My beloved mare was 33 when she died. She wass the picture of health except for a little arthritis. If you feed good quality hay and grain you will have your compaion for a long time.

on 11/22/2005 There are many Arabians out there in desperate need of homes due to overbreeding, bankruptcy or ordinary greed. Contact a local horse rescue; many fine Arabs can be found this way.

on 11/22/2005 I have an Arabian that is 16 hands tall. As with many other breeds, they are breeding height into Arabs. They are no longer only around 15 hands - usually are much bigger, as a matter of fact.
