on 11/4/2007 I am a 47 yr old women, like the gentleman above I have not had experience as a ranger. I have spent alot of time camping, hiking etc, and have worked with animals my entire life. What are the odds of employment for someone my age. Not worried about the investment.
on 8/10/2007 I am a 43 yr. old male, who has never had experience in the Park Ranger industry. My past experience has been in insurance, however, it has always been my goal to become a Ranger. Can anyone offer some advice as to how I go about pursuing my goal? Thx!!!
on 11/22/2005 Speak to as many seasoned permanent park rangers as you can to find out what it's really like to work for the system. Then decide if being a ranger is what you want before investing what it will take to realize this dream job.
