on 8/25/2008 this is like a trick, a hint that should speed up ur connection up to 72%, open the internet, go to tools, synchronise,you should get a box, click setup, click on ''when i log on to my computer'' and then ok, after this, close the internet window, than open it again, go to tools, internet options, click on delete cookies, and delete files, go to the connections tab, and LAN settings, click on ''use automatic configuration script'', and then go to the privacy tab, and put it medium, then apply, ok. after: start/ run, type c ,and press enter, you get a message box ''windows cannot find...'' once u get it, double click fast on the ok button, u will think this just a joke, but i am a proffesionnal, if u need anything, dont hesitate, add me samer_genius@hotmail.com, thx 4 reading :-) enjoy
on 7/2/2007 On occasion you may get an IP Conflict. To fix the problem, follow these steps. 1. Click on the start menu 2. Click on Run... 3. On the prompt, type in "cmd" and press Enter. 4. You should have a black command prompt box. In that box, type in "ipconfig" and press Enter. This lets you see your ip address. 5. Now type "ipconfig/release". This will drop your ip address and your connection. 6. To renew your connection, type "ipconfig/renew" and press enter. Your computer should have a refreshed ip address and this helps with a lot of problems that can stem from problems with your ip address.
on 11/22/2005 Go to "Tools" and then "Internet Options" and then "Connections" tab. In the "LAN settings," I unchecked the "Automatically Detect Settings" and this dramatically improved my access to web pages.

on 11/22/2005 I added another splitter outside my house in phone box and routed line directly into my dsl modem for higher speeds, noticed a dramatic inprovement over using pre-existing lines within house which were ok for regular 56k connections cost less than $10 for this project.
on 11/22/2005 Hello people I have an awesome way to download an accelerator from WWW.CNET.COM it's a great way to get your internet fastest go to the site and search for wwwoosh I have this wwwoosh and it gave my computer speeds up to 175% faster than average drag along speeds now I download faster than ever. or if you dont want to just flush history and delete programs that you no longer use for more system resource and space for internet programs to functioin in the correct order
on 11/22/2005 I place tin foil around my phone cord, especially around the areas that are near high-voltage devices such as surge protectors or electric motors.
