on 1/18/2008 I found the tutorial pretty easy to follow. The steps are very detailed, but did not use a lot of technical words. The author should of listed the tools needed like screwdrivers, etc instead of just saying laptop computer battery in the “Things you’ll need” section. The author also said the battery type wrong since his tutorial is about replacing a CMOS battery, but in his “Things you’ll need” section he said , “laptop batteries” which is not the same as a CMOS battery. It list all the necessary steps in changing a battery on a computer’s motherboard. The title of the article is kind of unclear since it did not say CMOS battery in it. Step 5 is kind of unnecessary “Purchase the replacement battery” since most people already know that they should purchase a new battery when changing a CMOS battery.
