Return to article: How to Wrap an Unboxed Gift
on 11/22/2007 For big items like cars, people and houses use a King size bow. http://www.kingsizebows.com/
on 11/22/2005 You may buy a few little things such as from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Then buy a little cloth bag at a craft show. You can put all the items in the bag along with a small picture of yourself. Then tie it off!
on 11/22/2005 Another idea for a large gift is to use a lawn bag--one of those giant brown paper bags used for leaves in the Fall. You can paint the bag or cover it with wrapping paper. My girlfriends and I once stuffed one of these giant bags with packs of disposable diapers for a baby shower, then painted the bag with pink tempera paint since our friend knew she was having a girl.
on 11/22/2005 From personal experience, if the gift is too big (such as a car or bike), take a picture of it and insert it into a card. Tape a piece of string to the card so the person must follow it to the real gift.
on 11/22/2005 To make the bag look more decorative, hold the center part of the tissue between your thumb and your index finger. With your other hand, grab the part right below your fingers and pull downwards to create a flower-type tissue.
