USE YOUR FATHERS GROUT TO MAKE THE VOLCANO,SO IT WILL LOOK JUST LIKE THE REAL DEAL NEXT UES REAL MATERIALS AROUND THE YARD FOR THE LOOK ALIKE TREES AND BUSHES. FINALLY ADD CARBON TO THE MIXTURES SO IT WILL EXPLOID

on 4/12/2008 When making lava flow down the volcano, build a trench around it so that the lava doesn't flow off the table.

on 8/8/2006 Make rows down the volcano, so that the lava wont flow everywhere. Also, put it in a box so the lava won't go on the floor.

on 4/12/2008 Remember, when you are exploding your volcano the lava can stain clothing, so wear clothes that you don't care about.

on 4/12/2008 If you want to postpone the eruption, cut a piece of metal/plastic and cut a slit to put it through in the bottle. Make sure there is some metal sticking out of the slit you have made. Then add the vinegar on top. When you want the volcano to explode, simply pull the piece of metal out.

on 4/12/2008 To shape your volcano, use pieces of rolled up newspaper and glue it to the bottle, then instead of using papier mache and salt dough, use play-dough. Then use the play-dough to cover your bottle.

on 11/22/2005 When you are all done and ready to explode the volcano, add a small drop of red food coloring. You can also use liquid hand soap to make it look like foaming lava.

on 11/22/2005 You can save on bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and food dye by cutting the bottom of a similar bottle that you used to make the shape of your volcano and stick it in the volcano, so it looks like it doesn't even have the bottom of a bottle in it!
