on 6/30/2006 When your rabbit will not build a nest, you can build it yourself. If she tears your nest apart, it means she does not think her babies will be comfortable. She will build her own, just be patient. She will sometimes build nests after the babies are born or even while she is having them.

on 11/22/2005 If you rush to find out the gender of your rabbit, it may feel discomfort, and scratch and wriggle. Take your time and be gentle.

on 11/22/2005 When you are checking the gender, don't press too hard or it will hurt the rabbit.

on 11/22/2005 While you're finding out what gender a rabbit is, it's always best to wear latex gloves to prevent germs and bacteria from getting on the rabbit and on your hands.
