on 9/27/2006 I wanted this costume to be handmade and still look really nice. I handstitched the yellow ribbon stripes on a black sweatshirt. Then I glued wings to the back and yellow pipe cleaners on the hoodie for antennas. I used a black marker on the inside of the sweatshirt to cover the yellow stitching. Then for trick or treating, I covered a black bucket with rope and hot glued button bumble bees on it to make a bee hive. It turned out adorable!
on 11/22/2005 I spent all day once looking for a yellow shirt but they can be surprisingly hard to find. Easier: get a BLACK shirt, and put on yellow tape stripes.You're welcome.
