Return to article: How to Spot a Witch
on 8/22/2008 WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
on 4/1/2008 Following a religion is against a witch's nature, because religion implies belief. A witch knows what is real based on the experiences of her talents or abilities, and therefore does not need beliefs. She has empirical truths.
on 2/16/2008 we are human beings not science project labrats to be analysed and seriously how many fairytales did you scoop this 'evidence from' *sigh* you need to learn to respect poeples beliefs its people like you who make our lives difficult by bringing on ludicrous steriotypes. Next time you consider writing an article like this. I urge you to stop and think 'how would I feel if some one said this about me?'
on 11/6/2007 This article really iritates me. First off the sensationalist ideas are purely sterotypical and should be deleted. Secondarily whoever wrote this is very unfamilair with the difference between fantastical versions of witchraft and the real sects of witchcraft. This article I propose for deletion!
on 7/1/2007 strawberrys are extremely explosive. trust me. eat one and die. BOOM
on 6/11/2007 bubble bubble toil and trouble...you dont understand about real witches. we are not fictional and cast magic spells and trun you into toads. all we want is sympathyy and respect for who we are. and we are not vulger beings. thank you.
on 4/25/2007 I note there are no articles (as yet) called, "How to spot a Christian", "..Hindu", "...Muslim", "...Buddhist", "...nutcase". The person who wrote this probably believed that witches don't really exist.
on 2/5/2007 This is much simpler... Just weigh them against a duck on a scale. If they weigh the same as a duck, they are a witch - and you can BURN THEM!
on 8/8/2006 I'm a Pagan, too. Unless I'm sadly mistaken, I think this post was written as a kind of joke. it is a joke that involves creatures made up by the Catholic Inquisition, who just happen to have a similar title to the one that most modern-day Pagans have adopted. So, chill out. Or, write your own e-How about how to not offend Pagans. Don't get offended so easily.
on 1/24/2006 I'm not Wiccan. Though, I think the tips on how to spot us are rather funny. Truth is, you couldn't pick me out of a crowd if you didn't know me. I don't follow the made-up threefold law, or karmic return, or anything like that. Energy isn't constant, and magic isn't like electricity or anything near it. It's a mystery. To explain it, wouldn't make sense to anyone but me. Wicca isn't an ancient faith, it's a brainchild of Gardner. Deal with it.The triple goddess is a modern idea, I don't have anything of it in my tradition. And, witchcraft is not Wicca. Witchcraft is a practice, Wicca is a religion. Wicca can sometimes use witchcraft, but witchcraft and Wicca are two separate things. I've been called everything, from child-eating devil worshiper to Satan himself. Go ahead, think what you want, if it'll get you to leave me alone.
on 11/22/2005 Believe what you will, it will not change other peoples beliefs. Don't be so closed minded in other peoples beliefs, for it is not your place or your right to judge anyone.
on 11/22/2005 A real witch sometimes has blue spit and wears white gloves. She has no toes and she will wear a wig. Witches aren't people. They are animals. Some witches turn kids into food eat them! Never mess with a witch. If you see one run for your life, I'm not kidding! Go to the library and check out the book "The Witches" by Roald Dahl. It is a kids book, but you will get tips. Witches look like women, a male witch would be a wizard! There is a big difference between a witch and a wizard!
on 11/22/2005 I have been studying Wicca and pagan history. So far in my journey I have learned some very valuable lessons that everyone, not just pagans, should follow. 1. Be Kind to all you meet, you affect everything and everyone around you.2. Ignore the negative feedback, it's just their ignorance talking for them.3. The more positive energy you release into the world will come back three fold.4. It is not our way to push our beliefs onto deaf ears.5. We choose this path to enrich our lives and to connect better with all things.6. We do not belittle your choice of faith, we respect it.7. We are not out to recruit people, they will find the path if it was meant for them.8. We may not all be of the same race or religion, but we are all human. Treat others with an open mind and open heart.
