on 12/16/2007 I have an old Montgomery Wards 26 inch TV in the garage that I want to hook up a VCR to so I can watch movies when I work out on the treadmill. How do I hook one up? What do I need? Thanks!

on 6/7/2007 I have a 46 inch Sony tv which has DirectTV. To this is attached an Emerson DVD/VCR combo player. Recently, the VCR section quit working, but the DVD player stills works ok. I would like to attach another VCR to this set up. What do I need to do to hook up the additional VCR so I can play VHS cassettes?

on 10/21/2007 I have used a VCR for several years. Last January I got digital TV through Adelphia. When I was hooked up to digital, the workman said it was having trouble reading my VCR code. I had another person come out a month later who said the same thing. I have not been able to record anything on my VCR; however, I can play tapes, just not record for viewing later. Why would this be a problem all of a sudden with the digital hookup? Any suggestions appreciated.

on 12/16/2005 You will not get stereo output from your tapes if you use an RF cable from the VCR to the TV. You must use audio cables!

on 4/16/2007 To change from channel 3 (the default) to channel 4, turn off the VCR, press the 4 key on the remote control and hold it down until a red light flashes on the VCR to indicate the change has occurred. Tapes played on your VCR will display on channel 4 instead of channel 3. Make a note of this somewhere, each time your VCR loses power, it reverts back to channel 3 and has to be changed back to channel 4 again.

on 11/22/2005 Orion VCR model VR313 and other models display on TV channel 3. There is no switch on the back of the VCR to change from channel 3 to channel 4. If you live where a television station is broadcasting on channel 3, you won't be able to see the video output from your VCR on channel 3. There is a way to switch the vcr's output from channel 3 to channel 4, which is explained in the Orion VCR's user manual. If you can't find your copy of the user manual, nobody on the entire internet will tell you how to do it. I've tried.
