on 12/20/2005 If you're like me and often have a large crowd over for either Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, and never know how to keep everything hot (like stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans) consider this: borrow a few slow cookers before the event. This helps keep everything hot while the turkey or ham is cooking!

on 11/22/2005 Get a piece of cardboard, fold it in half, and glue on funny pictures of each guest at the table (the older the better)! Let them figure out where everyone is to sit.

on 11/22/2005 I print out my menu and then write beside the food what dishes I will need for serving. I get these pieces out the day before and attach a sticky note telling me what will be in/on the dish.
