on 11/22/2005 Put all the pictures, cards, dried flowers, and trinkets in a box and hide it so you do not have to look at it anymore. Seeing these things will only remind you of the person.

on 11/22/2005 Rent a ton of movies that are about finding the right one for you... usually they have someone else in their lives that wasn't the right one. So attach your ex's identity to the one that wasn't right and imagine when you find that perfect person for you.

on 11/22/2005 Keep in touch with his/her family after the breakup if you were close to them, even if you do not want to talk to him/her. That way you will know what is happening in their life so it is not as much of a shock when you see them with someone else.
