on 11/22/2005 Put everything that reminds you of your ex away, like in a box or your attic. Don't look at it until you are strong enough to deal with it. I took 6 months off from looking at pictures and videos of him. It was easier to remember with fondness that way.

on 11/22/2005 Change the way you think-when you think of her, you most likely are feeling pain right?Well then why would you want to think of that-its painful! Not thinking of her is pleasure!
and remember- she might one day get back with you! you never know!

on 11/22/2005 My theory for getting over a breakup is to focus on a new love interest. I've done it and I have overcome my breakup in less than a week. My other break up I wasn't so lucky. It took me a month. See other guys/girls and you'll be fine!

on 11/22/2005 Obviously, you had good reason to break up with him/her. Don't talk to them! You've already told them why it's over, and it will only give them false hope; and it will make you continue to feel guilty for breaking up. Move on with your life.

on 11/22/2005 Right after a break up, it may be tempting to go on a rebound. But as right as it may feel, its not going to work out. Take some time out with friends and eventually, and it happens to all of us, you will find the right person.

on 11/22/2005 Just because your ex does not want to be with you doesn't mean that you did something wrong. You do things because they feel right to you, and they will be right for the right person that you will meet in the future.

on 11/22/2005 Wanting to become a hermit is normal after a breakup but getting out in public actually helps more. Bumping into old friends at the bookstore or mall gets you talking to others again and gets you involved in someone else's life other than your own.

on 11/22/2005 Even though you may not feel like hanging out with your friends, they really do help when they just listen. They offer an ear, advice, and that shoulder to lean on when you do not feel like standing alone.\t

on 11/22/2005 If you are going to break up with someone and you know the other person does not want to break up, make a clean getaway - get straight to the point. The longer you talk, the harder it will be. TRUST ME!

on 11/22/2005 Try to always keep busy. Spare moments will only lead to thoughts of your relationship.

on 11/22/2005 Just think about how much better it is that it's over now, rather than in a couple of years when you're married, and you're filing for divorce.

on 11/22/2005 Do NOT call him. Don't. It only makes things worse for you, because if he was mean enough to dump you, he won't be afraid to hang up or insult you.

on 11/22/2005 Good relationships can still end. Your mate may not have been ready for commitment. He/she may not know exactly what they want. Let them go and explore who they are. In time, they will realize what they may have lost in you. Don't wait for them! HAVE FUN!

on 11/22/2005 Good things come to those who wait. He or she might just need some alone time to realize what it is they want. So give them some time and they may just come around!

on 11/22/2005 You are better off alone. If they truly loved you or you loved them, you wouldn't be reading this. Forget them, and remember your friends will be there after he/she is gone!
