on 8/15/2007 Do this fast. His wrist will break. Also, gives him less time to react, some guys will actually let go when they see you making a counter move. Don't let them.

on 7/9/2007 This is one of those things I find similar to defending against a front choke. Many people concentrate on the choke or grab when in fact I believe they should simply allow the choke or grab and attack the root of the problem the person. Instead of escaping the grab or choke hit the person in the face, body, groin, knee, or foot. If they are grabbing you they are definately within striking range. Dont waste your time on escaping and then attacking. Attacking IS escaping. A strike to the attacker will most definately make then release you.

on 2/28/2006 The defense move pictured works but can be improved. If the person executing the technique presses the attackers fingers into her head as she steps back and bends downward, it causes excruciating pain in his hand. The knuckles will actually pop and this will increase the likelihood of his letting go. It is almost always appropriate to deliver a follow-up kick immediately to the groin or knee to hinder pursuit.

on 11/22/2005 If an attacker grabs your hair and it's a female, grab her hair and do not let go till she lets go of your hair.
