you don't get to be a famous actor/actress JUST LIKE THAT! I am all stressed out now because of mu J.C.(Junior Certificate) which I will be writing next June. Only after J.C. I can attend Drama lessons because now I have to study. Can anyone please give me some advices about what should I do to stop getting so stressed when lots of people are staring at me? Some people say it has to do with me not being confident enough. I hope, and I am praying, that it will pass as I get older, because I really intend to become an Actress and later on move into New York or Los Angeles. I've always wanted to live in New York! One of my favourite actors lives there (Douglas Anthony Hutchison). Well at least that's what I read about him on the internet!! So if you have any advice you could give me please e-mail to:
aggie.biscuits@hotmail.com . Thanks a million! Agnes.

Hi my name is Agnes and I've always wanted to be an actress. My parents say I actually have a potencial to become an actress because Im quite funny. I love to act out in front of my friends and family, make them laugh, make jokes etc, but unfortunately when it comes to public speeches in school, I get so nervous, I start to sweat and sometimes even mix up all the stuff I was supposed to say/read but if that happens I just read on!!! My mam says that maybe as I'm getting older this kind of 'shyness' will dissapear, I hope so! So she suggested that maybe I would like to try out acting on stage, she want's me to sign up to some kind of Drama Classes. I think that it is really a good idea, in that way I could make sure if Acting is really the thing I want to do! She also says that the actors I see on TV also had to PRACTICE, sometimes for long years to become so good at acting, she says that
im muhammad ali from KSA saudi arabia.my dream is to be an actor from a long time.but the problem is i cant find a place in my country that i can start, some people and friends told me to stop thinking about it but i cant its in my blood i know my self that if i have the chance to be an actor, ill take it and i'm sure ill be good actor .
some time i get sad of my self because am getting older and i don't do anything yet, that is because no support or someone to guide me,and know as you can see the bad thinking about the Saudi people in USA.

Sarah! If you want to be an actress then you will find a way to do it! I know that you are young and naive about the business, but more than half the professionals (And I use that term very lightly) in the entertainment industry are faking it till they make it every day! It's very true! There is no step by step procedure, lol! I am not sure what the comment "I am not the richest girl or the poorest girl" has to do with anything?? It sounds a bit tacky and trite though to be honest! Being poor or rich has nothing to do with acting. And if you are influenced in anyway by the constant "celebrity" media and that is why you desire to be an actress then you won't make it! I am telling that to you now! All actors and actresses have put their hard knocks in! I can't tell you what makes the difference between the major actors who are well known and the ones that always stay under the radar, becau

To become an actor it is simple. I recommend being an outgoing person who can do improvisation. Furthermore, taking acting or Drama classes would be a good idea at some point, whether it be in school, college or what have you. It definitely does not mean you need it. There are obviously people who have excelled at acting with little training.
The next thing I would do is get an agent. Hire an agent and have them work for you to try to get you roles. Try out for every casting call. Furthermore, i would find free websites to post your actor's profile on. An example would be http://www.inktalent.com
Its free and you can actually see the studios that visit your profile.
The next thing I would do is try and become a member of SAG (Screen Actor's Guild)

First I want to say that even thought I am no expert I know that you have to truly love to act in any way to do it. You cant just do if for fame or for being admired so you have to see if acting is really what you want. Second, this industry from what I know if hard and only one in a million people make it but remember there is too much millions of people in the world so you can be that one. And third you have to act where ever and whenever you can so that the agencies can take you seriously. At last I give everyone that really wants it luck and perseverance.
