on 6/11/2009 You don't have to move to a big city to start - in fact it might be better for you to do a lot of work closer to home before you leave. You can hone your craft there. Try dinner theatre, theme parks, cruise ships, community theatre, acting in student films, doing improv, getting training closer to home. All of those things can help to refine before you move far away from home.

on 5/21/2009 I think acting is a great field to be in. The only thing is you have to move to a bigger city like LA or New York but it would be worth it.
on 5/5/2009 Hello everybody;]I always knew what i want to do in my life. Acting is my passion.Im a little bit shy, but im going in some acting classes and i think i can build my confidence..By the way Im from Lithuania;D so as you can imagine it is very difficult for me to do something in acting life.in my country there are only 2 academys of acting, wich are pointed only into theatre. but what i realy want to do is acting in films actually i dont know what to do. i want to move in LA, thats the biggest dream..but isnt it a little bit crazy and dangerous;[[ i don't know how to start..im very confusedmy teachers said that i have something, they saw something in my personality, said that i have initial talent and i want to put myself in this working range. maby you could give me some advices? thank you.(sorry for some words, i cant speak in this language very well;]..)Greta

on 3/11/2009 Hello!!! agnieszkaIf you want to feel cool while in from of many people...I advise you to imagen yourself as the one and the only one...and just think about how wonderful you are, try not to even look at one person at the time...look at them all as tiny little dots that can`t hurt you at all...If you just focus your brain on this ....you go girl!!!!

on 12/14/2008 you don't get to be a famous actor/actress JUST LIKE THAT! I am all stressed out now because of mu J.C.(Junior Certificate) which I will be writing next June. Only after J.C. I can attend Drama lessons because now I have to study. Can anyone please give me some advices about what should I do to stop getting so stressed when lots of people are staring at me? Some people say it has to do with me not being confident enough. I hope, and I am praying, that it will pass as I get older, because I really intend to become an Actress and later on move into New York or Los Angeles. I've always wanted to live in New York! One of my favourite actors lives there (Douglas Anthony Hutchison). Well at least that's what I read about him on the internet!! So if you have any advice you could give me please e-mail to: aggie.biscuits@hotmail.com . Thanks a million! Agnes.
on 12/14/2008 Hi my name is Agnes and I've always wanted to be an actress. My parents say I actually have a potencial to become an actress because Im quite funny. I love to act out in front of my friends and family, make them laugh, make jokes etc, but unfortunately when it comes to public speeches in school, I get so nervous, I start to sweat and sometimes even mix up all the stuff I was supposed to say/read but if that happens I just read on!!! My mam says that maybe as I'm getting older this kind of 'shyness' will dissapear, I hope so! So she suggested that maybe I would like to try out acting on stage, she want's me to sign up to some kind of Drama Classes. I think that it is really a good idea, in that way I could make sure if Acting is really the thing I want to do! She also says that the actors I see on TV also had to PRACTICE, sometimes for long years to become so good at acting, she says that
