on 11/22/2005 When planning a romantic getaway, it's important to ask the person that you'd like to take with you. Make sure that they don't have any plans for that time.

on 11/22/2005 Tell him to meet you after work in a nearby hotel. Have candles lit and a hot tub of water filled with bubbles. Meet him at the door in your sexiest nightie. Order room service.

on 11/22/2005 Draw some feet on paper & place them strategically on the floor leading your loved one to the bedroom. Include some signs - maybe something like, "Continue down the path to pleasure." Lastly, make sure the room has some romantic atmosphere.

on 11/22/2005 When staying at a hotel/inn, we bring our favorite crystal Champagne flutes and flower vase. Also, buy new lotions, oils and candles with matching scents (raspberry is our favorite). Bring Hershey kisses and mints to keep the kisses sweet and fresh.

on 11/22/2005 A simple getaway is often more romantic and spontaneous than an elaborate one. Don't worry about taking a plane anywhere - that often just adds stress. Instead, whisk your loved one away to a favorite nearby resort.

on 11/22/2005 Remember your significant other's hobbies or favorite things to do. Plan a surprise event around that activity - i.e. art museum, dancing, music concert, fancy gourmet restaurant, wine tasting, antiques shopping - the ideas are endless.

on 11/22/2005 Dim the lights, while soft music plays in the background, light scented candles, choose any from "The Body Shop," sprinkle rose petals throughout the room, while the two of you cuddle and eat fresh fruit until it's time for a delectable treat. You.

on 11/22/2005 Plan your trip at a tourist spot off-season - i.e. skiing chalet in the summer, beach bed & breakfast during the winter... It's cheaper & deserted! More private! Enjoy!

on 11/22/2005 String white Christmas lights across the bedroom ceiling. Romantically scented candles throughout the room. Lights off. Lace picnic cloth on the floor with Champagne, fresh strawberries and romantic attire. White rose petals across a turned-down bed.

on 11/22/2005 Buy a new bath gel and lotion to use on the trip so the fragrance will always remind him of that special romantic getaway every time he smells it.
