on 8/10/2008 can I use the article "formatting a secondary hard drive to remove a partition and place the all the hard drive space into a single partition ?

on 8/2/2008 I'm trying to install XP on a Vista laptop. When it boots it shows the hard drive, but when XP tries to install it says there's no hard drive!!! Any suggestions? Thanks, John

on 6/27/2008 Angof try knoppix you can boot from CD using a live distribution and don't have to format your C drive.

i got problem to format my hard drive. after i've press any key to boot from cd nothing happen and the blue screen didn't show up. i've waited the whole night but nothing happened. please help me. i really need to format the computer.

on 5/25/2008 just reformatted my mothers pc she had downloaded a trogen which made using the pc or removing the virus impossible.
Great& easy instructions to follow the pc is now working as it should..thanx..

on 5/12/2008 I have widows xp installed on my laptop and i want to install a clean version + format my drive. But, when i try to install windows like in the instructions above i get to where it gives me the option where you can delete old partitions and format drives. Then without even pressing a key my computer switches off automatically every time! I have my original boot cd with serial no. Can you help me out on this plz?
