on 11/22/2005 You will need the following:
1. Circle of tulle (your wedding color)
2. Ribbon (your wedding color)
3. 5 Jordan almonds
4. Ribbon roses
5. Clothespin

Step:
1.Lay your circle of tulle out flat.
2.Lay 5 almonds 1/4 of the way from the bottom.
3. Fold the extra over the almonds.
4. Fold over 1 more time (with almonds intact).
5. Fold in the left half of tulle.
6. Fold over the right half of tulle.
7. Keep folding till the top of the tulle is under the bottom.
8. Use a clothespin or a helping hand to hold the favor in the middle.
9. Tie your ribbon around the middle (you can also do the ribbon as a present). Example: +
10. Tie your ribbon into a bow.
11. Glue your ribbon rose in the middle of the favor.

on 11/22/2005 When I went to Italy for my cousin's wedding, I saw another way to give five almonds. Instead of tulle, they put the five almonds into pockets of a strip of ribbon, pulled the strings on the ends of it and it makes a flower. They put pretty porcelain calla lillies on it. They called it Coccarde.

on 11/22/2005 Why not use tealight candles instead of sugared almonds? Not everyone likes the little sweets but the candles can be used as a decoration in your guest's homes.
