on 1/2/2007 You can try blue carbon tracing paper. Just put the dark side of the carbon paper on the fabric and the paper with your design on top of the carbon paper. Trace your design and it should transfer to the fabric. Embroider and wash - the blue trace marks should wash out.

on 7/5/2006 Many fabric and quilting stores sell an item called a transfer pencil. This pencil turns any drawn design into a hot transfer. Follow the directions and recommended iron heat settings on the package.
