on 12/27/2008 Fun ideas.
on 9/4/2006 Take one Hersey kiss and hug. Put them together at the bottom. Push a floral wire stem (heavy enough to hold the rose up) through the top of the kiss and into the bottom of the hug. Cut colored cellophane, the color of the wedding (the kind for easter baskets) into squares large enough to cover both the hug and kiss. Twist the cellophane around the wire. Add a rose leaf twist that wire around the cellophane. Add floral tape to hold the rose leaf and the cellophane and to cover the floral wire. Make a small label that says "A Hug and A Kiss from Mr. & Mrs. **** with the wedding date. Pass out at the wedding or reception, I put them in a large vase for a vase of roses.
on 11/22/2005 Take a clear plastic spoon, put two Hershey's Kisses on the spoon, wrap the scoop in a square piece of tulle, tie the tulle in place with a piece of wire long enough to attach a message at the tip of it, take a piece of ribbon long enough to make a bow with and slide on two plastic silver or gold wedding rings and then tie onto the spoon. Make up a message on a business card sized piece of paper that says "A spoonful of kisses from the Mr. and Mrs." Punch a hole in the upper left hand corner of the message and attach to the spoon using the wire.
on 11/22/2005 Purchase a box of 24 votive cups with candles already included at a discount store. Take tulle and wrap each set then tie off with coordinating silk ribbon. Accent with a small silk flower bud or any other accent that you would desire. Set one at each place setting at your reception as a small "Thank You" gift for attending.
on 11/22/2005 My cousin married a man with Mexican heritage, so for favors they bought mini cactus plants in terra cotta pots from WalMart. They then handpainted the pots with their names and the wedding date, and tied care instructions around the pot with a ribbon.
on 11/22/2005 Get miniature champagne flutes from Michael's and fill them with potpourri. Tie a circle tulle over the top and secure it at the flute's stem with satin ribbon (personalized with the bride and groom's name and wedding date).
on 11/22/2005 Get a long piece of cloth cut in squares, the size of a handkerchief. Get silver or gold rings (that you would put on a ring pillow). Take the middle of the material and slide it through the ring. Get a label and put tears of joy on it. Hand it out at the wedding for people to dry their tears with.
on 11/22/2005 For my wedding, I bought mini baskets from Michael's Crafts. I spray painted them white and tied ribbons and bows around them. I layed mini rose buds inside and place one on each table. They are very adorable!!!
on 11/22/2005 Place 2 candy kisses on a colored plastic fork and tie with colored tulle. On a small card type "A heartful of thanks, A spoonful of kisses. From (name) & (name), The new Mr. & Mrs." Punch a hole in the corner and use ribbon to secure to the spoon.

on 11/22/2005 Take Avery labels (8162) and your favorite printing program. Design your own wrappers, and fit them around Hershey's miniatures. Perhaps use your married name over a photo or design, the wedding date, a Bible verse, or a short note to your guests.
on 11/22/2005 When I was married last month, we made our own CD using our favorite songs. We included the First Dance song, the cake-cutting song and all the traditional songs. We made CD covers with our picture on it and gave all our guests a copy of the CD. Success!
on 11/22/2005 For our fall wedding, we placed one red and one yellow tulip bulb in foil paper and wrapped netting around and put a fall colored tag saying Please plant these tulips as a sign of our love. Thanks for sharing our day. Bride groom names and date!
on 11/22/2005 Recently went to a wedding where the bride had taken mini terracotta pots, written the couple's name/wedding date in gold marker, glued ivory ribbon around the top, and planted a small vine in it. She then placed them at everyone's seat for the dinner.
on 11/22/2005 I read about a couple that engraved a poem about the couple inside of a notecard and filled each one with a tiny bag of Forget-Me-Not flower seeds for guests to plant and remember the day and the couple by.
