on 1/26/2006 For people with January 1 birthdays(like me), we feel very hurt when everyone forgets our birthdays or everyone is too tired form New Years eve to celebrate with us. We all understand everyone is broke from Christmas, but the happy birthday/merry Christmas presents really suck. Keep in mind that just because our birthdays are a week after Christmas, we still want to feel remembered and loved on our day.
on 11/22/2005 I'm a capricorn and I enjoy gifts with love, not common things other people have. We want personalized, practical things so we can cherish them forever.
on 2/12/2007 If you know that the person always get jipped around his/her birthday because it falls after the holidays and everyone is broke (like myself)-BE THOUGHTFUL and aware of what that person is really into. Us caps don't always need expensive items-we are sentimental beings. Get to know us better-it is really not difficult to get a present that is practical and awesome-if you know the person.
on 11/22/2005 Avoid the old cop-out of writing "Merry X-mas/Happy Birthday" on the tag of the same gift, unless you're doubling them up for something extra special!
on 11/22/2005 Think back and remember what they got for Christmas, perhaps a personal planner might come in handy for the new year or match the gift to a previous one.
