These are great ideas and can be initiated by either party in a relationship. My website is for husbands who want to make their wives happy, but I'm really aware of the fact that wives need to do the same for husbands....we just have to make sure that we pick the activity that will actually please the other - and not just do it for ourselves!!!! -

Take the 3 hour journey to see her early in the mornin' and meet her after college with a single red rose, walkin' her home along the sea-front and listenin' to her day, just talkin', have another 11 roses waitin' for her at home with chocolates and a card, watch a nice film and after tell her to get ready for a meal at a nice restaurant with a view of the sea, afterwards take a cab home and lay in bed together, passin' her the jewellery you bought her from under the bed. Next, tell her you love her. Did the trick =] -

Since I have 2 little ones and no babysitter, I wait until the middle of the night when the house is asleep and prepare a little desert. I take it to the backyard, light the candles and wake up hubby. He loves it every time. And we get alone time. -

Go for a ride to the mountains or the beach. Take a picnic basket. Go to a park, watch the sun set or simply enjoy one another's company. -

Obviously not for everyone, but a cute date all the same; ask her out to watch the sunrise. Pick a beautiful spot (not a very long drive though) and pack mimosas and fresh fruit in a cooler if it's summer. Or maybe hot chocolate or coffee in a Thermos if the weather is cold. Try to plan for good weather, but if the morning is horrible, go anyway. Have a few laughs over the failure of the weather (shows personality). Make sure neither of you have a late night beforehand or this is a real dud. Check sunrise times for that day and plan accordingly. Make sure you aren't rushed at all, giving her time to be a little late if need be. Dress casual and have fun! -

Buy a book with stories how people have met from different places in the world. During the picnic you have planned at your favorite place, take out the book after you have eaten and read certain stories that interest you then let your companion of the evening pick their choices. This makes for interesting conversation and getting to know each other better. Also, please don't leave a mess behind so the other person knows you care about the environment. Smile! -

Women like to be shown romance without always leading to sex. The candles and flowers are great. Even a dance, but don't do it just because you want something in return. If you romance her in the right way, it'll be worth the wait! -

No matter her body shape, don't ruin a romantic setting by drawing a heffer... make her look appealing. :) -

On a random weekend, take your guy/girl to a romantic hotel and have them blindfolded the whole way... lead them up to the room and seat them on the bed, and then take their blindfold off. Take it from there. -

In the morning, ask your partner how busy her day is. After she tells you what she is doing, take or have roses delivered to every location that is possible, even if it is one red rose per location. Surprises are always nice and this will definitely give a romantic touch to an endless evening. -

Get a couple bottles of glow-in-the-dark body paint. Turn on the black lights and write each other very personal messages. Plan on a shower after, and get crazy! -

If you're not too bad at singing, you can check about her tastes about romantic music first and surprise her by singing her favourite song while walking under the stars. If you "perform" the lyrics as well, you'll succeed; I guarantee it! -

For a quiet and romantic touch, set up candles leading to a hot tub or jacuzzi. Make sure to have fresh fruit with whipped cream on the side, so you both can indulge yourself in the moment. -

Find something to do together and then surprise them - teasers and driving someone blindfolded to the date only increases the suspense and fun. Also, guys like being surprised as much as girls so try treating a guy to a surprising evening. -

If you have a romantic evening already planned, start the anticipation for it early in the day. A long, lingering kiss goodbye in the morning. A little scented note with some romantic thoughts of the night to come. Anticipation can be sexy. -

Cook a meal for her and eat it out on a deck. Dance under the stars with no music. If you're ready, tell her you love her. -
