Minimize zooms.
Use brief takes 5-15 seconds.
Hold camera steady.
Transition scenes with fades.
If subject is too dark because of backlight, Press backlight and turn off when done.
Keep wind away from microphone. Buy a wind shield if you shoot in the wind a lot.
If not enough light on subject, press exposure and turn off when done.
If out of focus, press focus button and turn focus ring, then press focus attain to turn off when done.
