on 8/8/2006 When you go to spin, turn your waist first. Once you do this, the rest of your body will follow.

on 8/8/2006 Try to land an impossible without rolling. To do an impossible, if you ride regular, put your left foot just on the left side of the back screws. Have the ball of your foot hanging off the board. Now kick as hard as you can and bring your left foot off the board (don't slide your foot, just bring it off). Your board should go in a backflip motion. Twirl your board around your right leg. Just as you see your board has turned about three quarters of a circle, bring your left foot back on. Repeat until you can land it, then try it rolling.

on 11/22/2005 When you try the 180 ollie the first time, your board is probably going to spin the direction you want it to. However, you are probably not going to. To keep your feet on, try to keep the board level as you spin and then fall dead weight to the ground. Try not to hesitate. To practice, try doing it without the board, but with your feet alone.

on 11/22/2005 Make sure you get enough speed to come off sidewalk or ledge completely, because if you don't, you will fall. Get some speed, and as soon as your front wheel is about to come off the objectdo an ollie. To do an ollie, bend your knees and jump while hitting the back of your board on the ground. Then, push your board foward very gently, and ride away.

on 11/22/2005 1. Put your back foot on the tail.
2. Put your front foot on the center of your board.
3. Bend your knees, then pop your back foot down has hard as you can. As soon as the back of the board hits the ground, slide your front foot up. Your back foot and your front foot should be on the screws of your board.

Tip - The harder you pop the board, and the faster you slide your foot, the higher you will go.

on 11/22/2005 First things first. You have to know how to ollie about as high as a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew. The next step is to rotate your body in the opposite direction of the way you are going to spin. Spin your body and board in the direction that you want to spin. Land, and ride away clean.

on 11/22/2005 As you begin to ollie, have your shoulders already turning in the desired direction.

on 11/22/2005 Step 1. Go at a moderate speed or however fast you think is right for you. Put your back foot at the back edge of the board and your front foot at the back of the bolts of the front trucks.

Step 2. Push down with your back foot and slide your front foot up the board slightly (do not slide your foot off the board unless you want to do a kickflip).

Step 3. As you land, bend your knees (this is essential).

Try getting faster and faster, then try ollieing down curbs, up curbs, over a jumper, and then put it to the test on a ramp or a half pipe.
