on 6/30/2006 I noticed that if I stored all my shoes in one basket, they would rub on each other and look worse and worse when I took them out to wear. For shoes that you want to last longer, keep them in separate shoe boxes or clearly separated on a shoe rack.

on 12/9/2005 Make sure you don't go walking through wet mud in your smart shoes. Also, if they're like Timberland shoes, try not to wear them when it's pouring rain.

on 11/22/2005 I must stress the importance of cedar shoe trees for every pair of dress shoes you own. This small ($10) investment will preserve the shape of the shoe and remove most heavy creases. The cedar will make them smell better, too.
