Return to article: How to Have Fun in Las Vegas Without Gambling
on 3/19/2006 Join the slots clubs at all the casino's in Vegas. Most of them will give you free fun books with free coupons for 2 for 1 buffets, 2 for 1 shows and quite a bit more free stuff. The afternoon shows in Vegas are really worth seeing especially with the 2 for 1 coupons. The Gold Coast casino had a good buffet for little money, it's only a short walk from the strip. But even better is most casinos have free shuttles, so take a shuttle to save taxi money.
on 11/22/2005 Some of the best places for kids can be found in and around the Strip area. The GameWorks arcade is huge; in the summer you must check out Wet 'n Wild; and there are myriads of things like M&M World (if they still have it; I don't remember). Be advised upon visiting the Fremont Street Experience: It's in a very bad part of town (I should know; my school is down the street from it, so you'll definately want to watch your belongings/vehicles/companions.
on 11/22/2005 We toured the hotels on the strip without gambling, and we saw the Laser Light Show at Fremont Street Experience.
on 11/22/2005 If you are a kid, Circus Circus is awesome! It has an Adventure Dome where there are a ton of rides.
on 11/22/2005 Get tickets early and don't miss Cirque Du Soleil! Now, there's O, a water show, and Mystre, my favorite. It's circus, dance, acrobats, drama. Every seat in the house is great. Find out more at http://cirquedusoleil.com/.
on 11/22/2005 Big Band concerts in New York-New York. Bird shows at the Tropicana. Magic shows at Excalibur. Pageantry at The Venetian. Theme park at MGM Grand. It just goes on and on. Enjoy!
on 11/22/2005 After visiting the tigers, don't miss the erupting volcanos in front of the Mirage. A spectacular show.
