on 11/22/2005 Check a victims LOC (Level of consciousness) regularly using the AVPU scale and write this down with their vitals. AVPU stands for Alert and Orientated; victim knows where they are, what happened, who they are, the time of day, what day it is, responsive to verbal stimuli, and responsive (or unresponsive)to pain.
