Great article. It's nice to see you reminded DIY people to "turn off the water completely" and turn on their faucets to get rid of most the water in the tank.

You may need to drain off a little of the water in the old heater. ?????being that water has a weight of 8.34 pounds per gallon and it you had a 30 gallon water heater you would have 250 pounds of water plus the weight of the tank. You should drain most all of the water first.
