With 800 miles between my family and me, it is very nice to connect to them. I find them on facebook and myspace. Plus send emails is much cheaper than the post office.

The internet can be a great way to connect with people to whom you're related. Through one site, I actually found a genealogy expert who was working on one of my family lines -- what a jackpot of information!
