I live on the border of two state and travel to many others. I've handled firearms since I was a boy. I want to be legal, and safe.

Being a CCW Instructor in Nevada, how hard would it be to get a Utah permit. I am certified NRA in handgun already and registered with Metro Police in Vegas.

It is shameful that so many states do NOT recognize the right to carry. This has got to change as society continues to degrade.

I think this is a wonderful thing. It will enable me to legally carry in other states. Maryland laws really sucks.

Wow - interesting article on concealed weapon permits. I never realized a permit was valid in multiple states. -

I am not sure. Utah and Florida are the most recognized and most reciprocal of the permit states. It may depend on what state it is from. Utah and Florida would recognize your permit. Nevada who just added Utah last month may not yet.

If you have a current gun permit in another state can that count for step 3 along with a valid driver's license?
