Also, it's not very sound advice to simply say "avoid taking antidepressants or other drugs." Some people's brain chemistry is such that stopping an antidepressant or other psych med can really make them unable to function and might put them in serious danger of harming themselves or others. Better advice is to be aware of the effects that meds can have, and to talk to your prescriber about what the best options are for you.

on 2/17/2008 my problem is that when we are trying it becomes stressful on me and people around me pop up pregnant quicker than I. They can plan and boom "they're pregnant". It has not been easy for us and I've gotten frustrated with the whole thing. I work in a Pediatric office and see babies and little one's all day long. I sit and listen to women complain about motherhood while pregnant with their 3rd or 4th child. I will never understand how they are so fertile and take motherhood for granted. While others who value that and want to be mom's are having a hard time getting pregnant. I've been told to stop trying it will happen and I've been told to count days, know your temperature etc.....the whole nine yards and nothing. When I count and tell my husband it becomes psychological because then he can't perform and I loose the mood to even try. It's been 4 years and I find myself questioning why?

on 12/1/2007 I have been trying for 17 yrs to become pregnant and still nothing, drs have no reasoning behind this, I have been through all the testing, the fertility pills.. I am 34 now and still trying, at this point I'm ready to stand on my head lol.

on 10/27/2007 Don't forget to have a STD test done on both you and your partner before having unprotected sex. You never, ever know where or when you or your partner might have picked something up. Blood transfusions, contact with infected material, even skin to skin to genital contact can all give you SOME form of STD, even if it's not one of the big deadlies.

on 9/27/2007 Getting pregnant is not as hard as we sometime think, untill we get pregnant. The best method which i tried is calculate the days in which u had best chances of conceiving. Also try to give a gap, so that u can conceive easily. Two yrs back ,i got pregnant by accident,at that time we arent ready for a baby(so we decided to get abort),but i was thinking of of further complications .But the doctor assured me that nothing will happen .And now at this time i m so happy ,i m 5 weeks pregnant, i just calculated my exact days of conceiving. So dont worry friend ,,good news surely come to u soon.

on 9/13/2007 I tried praying for a girl with my last 3 boys and nothing happened.So now I have 1 girl and 5 boys. So is there anything else that I can do to help my chances.
