When we lived in L. A. and there were so many earthquakes... we always had a survival kit ready. I have lived in Grass Valley now for 17 years and I recently came across my survival kit, packed away in a closet....wonder if the water is still good? LOL

I live in an area of the country which is surrounded by forest, swamps, and woods. I'm worried about getting lost on a daily basis! Great survival article.
