on 11/22/2005 There's this guy who likes me, and he's always staring at me. Whenever I'm not looking, my friend says, "Look who's staring at you." When I turn around, he gets embarrassed and looks away. There's also this other guy who always stares at my chest, but he doesn't like me (because he stares at everyone else's chest as well). Don't misinterpret someone staring at you.

on 11/22/2005 Tell them a non-funny joke. If they laugh, they are interested.

on 11/22/2005 Quality guys are extremely turned on by smart women, but only those who don't have to prove how intelligent they are by being know-it-alls. Trust me! Reveal it slowly over time to surprise him and he'll know that you can hold your own!

on 11/22/2005 If she's the shy type, and you begin to see her or run into her multiple times a day, it means she's placing an effort to see you or get you to see her. She'll probably mutter a soft "Hi" with a friendly smile.

on 11/22/2005 I like to talk to the person I like whenever I get the chance. Her friend notices that I like her. My friend notices that I like her, too. Chances are, she also notices. However, I don't ask (because I'm sure the feeling won't be mutual). It could also complicate a friendship. Go for it anyway. If you're friends, you can patch it up.

on 11/22/2005 If they like you, they will mimic your choice of words or share an opinion you had in the past.

on 11/22/2005 I think you can tell if someone likes you by what your gut tells you. For girls: If he talks about you a lot, stares a lot, and shows off when he's around you, then this may be a definite possiblity. If he tries to make you laugh, tries to start conversation, and shows interest in your life, hobbies, etc. then this could be also. If he calls you a lot, I think he might try to make an excuse, like "Did you get the homework assignment?" (he's really just calling mainly to talk).
Me, being a female, I have a certain way of acting when I like a guy. I might try to flirt with him, or try to be casual and make it seem like he's no big deal. I may try really hard to make him laugh, or discuss him a lot with other people. I may even be too shy to even speak to him or give him eye contact. I might try to look really cute to him. I might try to show off, or get really nervous when he's around. I may start fixing my hair, making sure there aren't any errors in my appearence, etc. I might even become a little obsessed with him...tracking down his phone number, discussing him constantly, trying to find out his interests from other people, etc. I also think that one way you might be able to tell if someone likes you is if you compliment them and they get really happy. Usually, if you don't like someone, their compliments really aren't that importatant. However if you like someone, their compliments may light up your smile for days, which shows that you really value what they think and are glad about what they may find sincerely appealing about you!!!! Otherwise, ask yourself. Listen to your gut. If you think the guy/girl is interested deep down inside, you're more than likely right.

on 11/22/2005 If you tell him no and he asks why not, he's obviously wondering why you're not already taken. He probably likes you. :-)

on 11/22/2005 If you have a hunch that he likes you, just walk near or in front of him. Even if he's busy (on the phone) or talking to his friends, his eyes and body will unconsciously follow in the direction that you're going. You also know that he's tuned into you when he's already in a conversation with someone else, but when you begin to talk with another person, he quickly looks at you (as if he lost a bit of his concentration) or he actually pauses to listen to what you are saying or who you're talking to (if you're on the phone).

on 11/22/2005 Out of the blue, he begins to tell you about his past and present relationship with his immediate family. He shares who he feels the closest to and why. This surely is a sign that he wants you to know more about him and that he feels the deepest connection with you. It's a GO sign.

on 11/22/2005 You know he likes you and your presence when he uses your vocabulary. For example, you start talking with a British accent and so does he, or you begin to use a unique word and he uses it all the time!

on 11/22/2005 If you really want to know if they like you, ignore them for about three days. Don't speak to them. Don't look at them or do anything to them. If they ask you why you're ignoring them, they definitely like you.

on 11/22/2005 I'm no expert, but in my opinion there are only two ways to tell if someone likes you:

1) They go out of their way to make verbal, physical, or (in terms of the internet) cyberspace contact with you.

2)You ask them and they admit it. Go on girls, have a little courage.

on 11/22/2005 If he is always asking you if you know other people when he knows you don't, he likes you. If he walks into a room with you and you feel a connection, he may like you.
